Position Summary

The Analyst, Global Data Compliance primarily supports the firm’s data integrity by reviewing and updating timekeeper and client/matter related entries in the firm’s financial system (3E). Responsibilities include coordinating with Legal and Administrative Staff regarding modifications to Time and Cost entries. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, anticipate issues, work towards resolutions, and be capable of multitasking in a high-paced environment.

Our Functional Area

The Global Finance team, led by the Firm’s CFO, Steve Wrede, consists of approximately 280 members worldwide. Our core functions include billing, collections, statutory accounting, management reporting, payments, payroll, partner compensation, vendor procurement, tax strategies, inventory management, and profitability analysis. We work seamlessly across our global offices, sharing a multicultural and supportive environment focused on achieving strategic goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Manage time and cost entry corrections, deletions, and duplicate removals.
2. Process client and matter-related modifications in compliance with Global Pricing Guidelines.
3. Review and correct automated time and cost loads.
4. Prioritize and respond to inquiries, following up as needed.
5. Update timekeeper records, including billing rates.
6. Maintain new client and matter rate exceptions and discounts.
7. Ensure all approvals and documentation are recorded accurately in 3E according to guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
• At least one year of experience in BPO or Shared Services preferred.
• Experience with financial software such as Elite 3E is advantageous.
• Legal background is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, Data Analysis), Word, and PowerPoint.
