We are seeking a payroll administrator who will assist the Finance team to ensure the efficient operation of processing payroll and accounts receivable. Duties include payroll operations, maintaining payroll records, calculating employee pay, and assisting with payroll processing in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and willing to adapt, collaborate, and embrace change.

Responsibilities- Confirm all new-hire information is in the system and resolve outstanding issues (verification documents) promptly
- Establishing and setting up tax information in new states, resolving outstanding issues with current states
- Verify that approvals for all increases and promotions are received on time
- Confirm individuals are set up in the correct earning and deduction groups
- Make all changes in the HRIS system
- Process off-cycle payrolls for items missed during the regularly scheduled payrolls
- Research employee issues concerning missing pay
- Verify that all clients are in the system and all employees are assigned to the correct client
- Confirm approval of timecards and track down missing punches to pull in time for payroll
- Handle all leave requests and ensure proper documentation to grant or deny leave
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Federal and State tax laws knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of payroll processes including garnishments, benefit deductions, taxes, FMLA, Work Comp, LOA experience
- Detail oriented
- Strong time management skills
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
- Willing to submit to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with fingerprint; offers contingent on results
- Willing to submit to drug screening; offers contingent on results
