We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has extensive bookkeeping experience with US-based clients, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. This role requires working the US shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST) and is best suited for candidates who have previously worked night shift schedules . Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions, reconciliations, and journal entries. Prepare and post payroll and month‑end journal entries accurately and on time. Prepare and review Profit & Loss statements (PNL) and balance sheets. Handle debits and credits and ensure all entries comply with accounting standards. Perform monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closings and assist in the preparation of financial reports. Collaborate with CPAs and clients to ensure accurate and timely financial information. Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with firm procedures. Use QuickBooks Online and Bill.com daily for bookkeeping and payment processing. Support continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and recommending enhancements. Qualifications 5–7 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with a US-based CPA firm (required). Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including payroll, journal entries, PNL, and reconciliations. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com is mandatory. Prior experience working night shift (US hours) is required. Experience with Keeper workflow system is an advantage. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and time management skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
