Your role The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for performing procedures assigned by the engaged Senior Accounting Specialist or Assistant Manager/Manager –Accounting. Such procedures may vary with the nature and scope of the engagement and the experience of the Financial Analyst. Show receptiveness to new ideas. Perform new and different approaches with a positive attitude and commitment to success. Assume new or different work assignments and schedules willingly. Modify work methods to meet changing needs of the team or client, without compromising ethical standards. Upon instruction/approval by the Assistant Manager/Manager–Accounting, communicate with the client with regard to accounting instructions, issues, etc. Superiors of work progress; give feedback on work performed, difficulties encountered, and issues identified. Execute the procedures in the work program assigned to them by the engaged Senior Accounting Specialist or Assistant Manager/Manager –Accounting. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the client’s accounting policies. Understand accounting principles and standards, taxation and relevant laws sufficiently to perform the job.
