Overview

ING Hubs Philippines (ING Hubs PH) is part of the ING organization delivering services to many Business Units across the world for both Wholesale Banking and Retail Banking activities. We are looking for a talented Data QA/Test Engineer to join our Data Tribe.

Responsibilities
  • Strong proficiency with SQL
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Plan and execute quality assurance activities throughout the development life cycle conforming to test strategy and best practices
  • Experience in creating Test Plans, Test Designs, Test Strategy Specifications, Test Cases and Scenarios
  • Experience in raising, tracking and retesting defects
  • Experience in test estimation
  • Work collaboratively with offshore teams and interact with business stakeholders
  • Actively contribute to initiatives which support the growth and efficiency of the testing practice
  • Ability to learn new things, gain expertise in complex business systems quickly with attention to detail
  • Demonstrable leadership experience in coaching and mentoring people to reach a common goal
  • Effective communication and collaboration as part of a team
  • Excellent team player
Key Capabilities / Experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience performing software testing within a structured software development cycle
  • Data warehouse / ETL testing experience
Minimum Qualifications
  • Programming skills in C#/Python
  • Sound understanding and experience in Agile/waterfall frameworks and practices
Nice to Have
  • Banking and finance industry experience
  • Test Automation experience
  • ISTQB certification
