What does the Hybrid Editor do in Hogarth? As a Video Editor with strong After Effects skills in our Versioning / Adaptation department, you will handle day-to-day adaptation work from a primary master to deliver across international markets. This role requires excellent Premiere Pro and After Effects skills and a solid understanding of international broadcast standards. The daily challenge is to fit a commercial into duration, standard and legal requirements while preserving the creative and marketing intent.

• Editing and re-editing according to story boards and briefs to meet the required commercial duration while preserving the core story/message.
• Incorporating artworks, graphics and renders from other departments according to the file management structure.
• Building Broadcast clocks according to delivery specs.
• Handling sound mix and ensuring audio levels meet delivery standards.
• Adding legal lines in the correct templates and durations for various markets.
• Updating product packs and motion graphics in After Effects.
• Ensuring all broadcast material is 100% compliant with legal and technical standards for target markets.

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Excellent editing and motion graphics skills.
• Solid understanding of standards, frame rates, aspect ratios and audio specs.
• 3–5 years of experience editing commercials for large brands delivering to international markets.
• Good understanding of current Asian, American, UK and European broadcast requirements.
• Great attention to detail to identify quality, size and color mismatches on the go.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varied rules across multiple clients and markets.
