JOB DESCRIPTION: Understand the business and relevant processes in the tax filings, keeping of the books of accounts, and compliance requirements in accordance with the Philippine tax code and other regulators (e.g., SEC, LGUs). Supervise the accounting staff in both head office and subsidiaries to comply with the company's policies and procedures on tax management. Communicate the policies and procedures on tax management. Prepare the tax returns. Maintain the records in the books of accounts for all the companies. Assist in payment for the permits and licenses of all the companies. Assist in all filings to BIR, BOI, PEZA, LGUs and other regulators. Process request for Philgeps tax clearance for bidding to government projects. Check filing of source documents if compliant with company policies. Recommend improvements in the tax management. Attend the regular meetings on tax management. Coordinate with key stakeholders- executive team, management team, process owners, and direct reports. Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Licensure: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred Experience: At least 3 years of experience in general accounting or a related role. Demonstrated exposure to tax compliance and PEZA-related processes. Skills: Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel. Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, PEZA rules, and regulations. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. High attention to detail and accuracy.
