Overview

Responsibilities
  • Perform general accounting functions
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
  • Analyze financial data; prepare/review weekly and month-end accounting reports
  • Prepare/review financial statements and report according to schedule
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Complete special projects as necessary
  • Must be able to multitask and work on several clients in each given day
  • Willing to work onsite in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan
  • Willing to adapt to a non-traditional work shift to overlap with US side work hours – from 5am to 2pm
Qualifications
  • Four-year college degree or higher in Accounting
  • Open to CPA and Non-CPA candidates
  • 2 to 5+ years’ experience in a related position
  • Experience in public accounting and/or restaurant and retail industries is preferred
  • Solid financial statement skills and a clear understanding of GAAP
  • Strong Excel and ERP skills
  • Highly independent but a team player
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English – verbally and in writing
  • Willing to work onsite in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan
