Your Role As a Software QA Analyst, you will: Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well‑structured test plans and test cases, ensuring that the team uses industry‑accepted best practices. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements. Lead QA initiatives and contribute to the testing effort in a hands‑on role & good functional testing. Contribute to the overall test plan for tasks, dependencies, and participants required to mitigate risks to system quality. What You Need - Non‑negotiables 5 years of experience in QA testing. Extensive experience with SQL (required). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field preferred. 3+ years’ experience in information technology preferred. 1+ year’s experience in mortgage or financial industry preferred. 3+ years’ experience with ServiceNow Enterprise ticketing system or similar software preferred. 3+ years’ experience in working with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) preferred. Demonstrates accountability and teamwork by taking ownership of assigned tasks and contributing to team success. Preferred Skills & Expertise Ability to track tasks and manage tight deadlines. Develop domain knowledge of Fay’s business to include an understanding of department goals and company objectives. Ensure compliance with Fay’s policies, processes, practices, and regulatory requirements. Model ethical standards, professionalism and code of conduct. Demonstrate behaviors that align with Fay’s Values and Operating Principles. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting. Familiarity with IT Service Management and ticketing system. MS Office Products, Outlook, Strong Customer Service skills for the end‑user preferred.
