Overview

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing IT projects from inception to completion. They ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning with business goals. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Liaise with business leaders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate meetings, provide status updates, and ensure stakeholder expectations are managed.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
  • Implement best practices for IT project management to minimize risks.
  • Define and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Allocate resources efficiently, balancing project demands and business priorities.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
  • Track project performance, providing detailed reports on project status, risks, and KPIs.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in IT project management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira,Microsoft Project).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Candidates must have the necessary resources and equipment, both hardware (laptop) and required software.
  • Candidates must have a fast, reliable, secure internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 mbps
