Position Title: Compliance Analyst

Overview

Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Compliance Specialist (CS), the Compliance Analyst assists the CS in the monitoring of compliance by the Bank with BSP, PSE and SEC rules and regulations relative to corporate governance and related party transaction requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Assists in updating the Bank’s Corporate Governance Manual, as needed, for Board approval; and assists in the periodic review of Corporate Governance Manual (CGM), RPT policy and accomplishment report vis-à-vis approved business plan (compliance-related only) of BSP-supervised financial subsidiaries and affiliates (FSAs).
  • Coordinate various regulatory requirements, as well as attend to special/ad hoc information requirements on related party transactions; provides administrative support for the Committees meeting.
  • Coordinate regulatory requirements, as well as attend to information requirements on related party transactions; provide administrative support for Committee meetings.
  • Assist in coordination of regulatory requirements and in preparation of letters/communications to regulators on corporate governance and RPTs.
  • Assist in periodic meetings with BSP-supervised FSAs to discuss compliance issues; share information on regulatory issuances; review agenda, discussion materials and minutes of meetings.
  • Provide assistance in the preparation of Compliance Evaluation Reports for the Related Party Transactions Committee (RPTC) and Related Party Transactions Management Committee (RPTMC); maintain organized files of meeting materials and a database of reviewed and evaluated RPTs, as well as a masterlist of group-wide RPTs and cross-selling/interlocking positions.
  • Assist in the preparation/reporting of annual performance evaluation of the board of directors, board and bank-level committees and interlocking positions.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports/materials for RPTC/RPTMC/CGC/BOD, and other Bank committees, as needed.
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
