Job Description

The Quality Control Manager will lead a variety of food safety and quality assurance programs. In this role, you will supervise audits and inspect processes that monitor food handling, storage and service operations to assure compliance with current food safety and quality regulatory requirements. You will lead and review the work of a team of analysts or inspectors that identify and evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process goods, procedures and operations.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and maintain quality control systems and product or process verification systems, including sampling procedures and analytical tests to ensure all products produced meet food safety and quality requirements.
• Provide overall leadership, development and talent management for direct reports, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting.
• Review regulatory environment and develop response protocols in preparation for new or amended food safety legislation.
• Investigate food safety processes to ensure compliance and report noncompliance to management and governing bodies along with developing and implementing corrective action plans.
• Evaluate vendors or suppliers for compliance with internal standards and external regulations and suggest changes with the goal of improving processes or products.
• Other duties as assigned.

You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of six years of directly related work experience and with managerial experience
• Licensed Chemist is preferred
• Other minimum qualifications may apply

Document Controller / QA/QC – Manila, Metropolitan Manila

PHILIPPINE COLLEGE OF CRIMINOLOGY is currently looking for Document Controller/QA/QC to handle the intake, management, and storage of our company’s documents. In this role, you will review, process, and file documentation as well as manage the smooth running of all our documentation operations. You are also responsible for monitoring and evaluating internal processes, determining their quality, and engaging with students, and gathering feedback, among other duties.

To ensure success as a document controller/QA/QC you should be up to date with document management processes and have a detail-oriented mindset. Must have an extensive understanding of document management system and be able to handle document access intaking and archiving responsibilities.

Document Controller Responsibilities

• Handling intake, scanning, verification, and storing documents.
• Filing and archiving relevant documentation.
• Retrieving files for other employees and customers when needed.
• Designing templates for documents, file types, and document databases.
• Checking and editing documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Controlling the flow of documents in and out of the department.
• Reporting errors or developments regarding document storage.
• Ensuring the secure destruction and disposal of sensitive documents.
• Updating and maintaining document management systems and physical records.
• Maintaining the security of confidential documents.
• Assisting employees with accessing documents through our document management system.
• Developing quality control processes
• Engaging with students and gathering product feedback
• Producing statistical reports on quality standards
• Improving efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering or similar
• 1-2 years experience in document management, archive management, or records management
• Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office programs
• Good typing and report writing skills
• Detail-focused document organizing abilities
• Familiarity with relevant regulations regarding document keeping and handling
• Time-oriented approach to handling queries and tasks
• Lean Six Sigma Certification (preferred)

Salary: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
