Job Description As an Accounts Payable Specialist , you'll handle financial transactions, monitor vendor payments, and ensure accuracy across all accounting records. You'll maintain compliance with internal controls while contributing to efficient financial operations that support a global healthcare organization. Visit Exclusive Emapta Lifestyle perks (hotel and restaurant discounts, and more) Unlimited opportunities for employee referral incentives across the organization Standard government and Emapta benefits Total of 20 annual leaves to be used at your discretion (including 5 credits convertible to cash) Fun engagement activities for employees Mentorship and exposure to global leaders and teams Career growth opportunities Diverse and supportive work environment The Qualifications We Seek Education and/or Experience High School degree or equivalent Must have at least 6 months of accounts payable experience Minimum of 6 months of work experience in customer service Skills/Specialized Knowledge Hands‑on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software Data entry skills Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access & Outlook Must be organized and detail‑oriented Other Requirements Must maintain professional appearance Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis Work Environment Standard office working environment that may be busy and noisy at times Your Daily Tasks Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures Perform day‑to‑day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and recording AP data Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities Coordinate and monitor daily accounts payable activities, following procedures and policies Perform account reconciliations Monitor all payable activities regularly Research and resolve payment discrepancies Review AP aging to ensure compliance Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc. Perform routine billing, purchasing, filing, and data entry duties as needed Process adjustments Develop a recovery system and initiate payable efforts Assist with month‑end closing Collect data and prepare monthly metrics Prepare bills, invoices, and payments for posting to Accounting Software Reconcile the AP aging tool to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted Ensure high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Calculate, enter, and manage accounting figures and financial documentation accurately Assist with 1099 management including Payroll Other duties as assigned About the Client Caring for People Through Financial Precision Our client is a leading U.S.-based healthcare organization that connects innovative medical solutions with compassionate service.
