Job Description

Responsible for independently and cooperatively understanding business requirements. Architecting, designing and implementing a reliable and scalable automation framework for a real-world machine learning platform. Automating tests to assure functional requirements and performance KPIs are met. Ensuring high product quality through rigorous functional and API level tests. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Provide technical and group leadership to fellow team members.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of experience with UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium) and API automation; experience with Jenkins
• Experience with ROBOT framework using Python; Python proficiency
• 3+ years of Python and/or Java/J2EE experience or equivalent OO paradigm
• Experience automating test validation via API or databases (Snowflake, Hive, AWS)
• Knowledge of Git workflows; Agile testing methodologies
• Web application testing experience (frontend and backend)
• Strong test planning skills; ability to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, SQL, NoSQL databases (e.g., Aerospike, Thrift); CI and AWS is desirable
• Experience with container-based solutions is a plus
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on new tasks
