About the Role

Atlas NextWave is working with a leading technical advisor who are looking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our project delivery team for the construction of a large-scale onshore solar farm facility in the Philippines. This role is critical in ensuring all construction and installation activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance, in line with contractual, regulatory, and international requirements.

The successful candidate will oversee the full scope of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works, working closely with EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the project’s QA/QC plan, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and verify construction works to ensure compliance with project specifications, design requirements, and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and quality checks on materials, equipment, and workmanship.
• Lead the resolution of quality-related issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Review and approve QA/QC documentation, including inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality records.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and relevant international quality standards, as well as local regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and the project management team to ensure quality objectives are met.
• Prepare and present regular quality reports to project leadership and management.
• Drive a strong quality culture across the project through training, mentoring, and awareness initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
• Minimum of 8–10 years of QA/QC experience in large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects, preferably solar.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing methodologies, and inspection procedures.
• Demonstrated experience in managing QA/QC processes within EPC or large contractor environments.
• Familiarity with international standards (ISO, IEC, ASTM, etc.) and Philippine regulatory frameworks.
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment.
