The Contract Specialist shall be responsible for:

  • Ensuring contracts are clear, fair, and legally binding to protect the interests of the Employer.
  • Monitoring contract performance to ensure obligations are fulfilled.
  • Resolving contract disputes promptly and effectively.
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs to adhere to the approved budget.
  • Providing advice and guidance on financial and contractual matters to the project team.
  • Ensuring submission of financial reports as required by ADB and the government.
  • Performing other duties as required by the employer.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Post-graduate degree in a related field is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience.
  • At least ten (10) years' experience as a Contract and/or Financial Management Specialist in feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, or construction supervision of road and/or bridge projects.
  • At least seven (7) years of experience handling projects financed by international organizations using FIDIC Contracts.
