Job Description

As a Back-end Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge software applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our software solutions. You will be responsible for designing and developing back-end microservices APIs and related business logic. Ideal candidates must have strong proficiency in C#, .NET, event-driven architecture, MSSQL queries and have proven experience creating REST APIs consumed by web and mobile apps. The candidate should be an open-minded and creative team player with good time management and project management skills.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain SQL stored procedures, REST APIs in C#, .NET, and other scripts as needed by the project
  • Build reusable components and libraries for future use
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and optimal performance of the software
  • Collaborate with other development teams on support and peer code review
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior developers, fostering their skill development and professional growth
  • Work closely with clients, Front-end and Back-end teams, DevOps and project managers to create strong and effective applications
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, API documentation, and user guides, ensuring comprehensive knowledge transfer within the team
  • Adhere to best practices in coding to ensure quality, maintainability, and efficiency of the code
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in software development
Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and LINQ/Entity Framework
  • Proficient in SQL programming languages
  • Experience with AWS components (SQS, SNS, Lambda) and Gitlab CI/CD processes are a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent time management and project management skills
  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
