Job Description Prepare and submit a variety of tax filings for corporate and partnership entities at federal, state, and local levels. Handle recurring indirect tax obligations, including sales and use tax, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Coordinate compliance for property-related taxes and business licensing requirements. Oversee real estate tax processes, including exemption applications and payment scheduling. Review and validate data for community-related reporting to maintain transparency and compliance. Act as a resource for cross-functional teams, providing guidance and support on tax and reporting matters. Step in as backup for other team members to maintain continuity during peak periods. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year in tax compliance, accounting, or consulting. Familiarity with financial reporting, including full sets of financial statements and general ledger accounting. Understanding of standard accounting and tax department procedures. CPA designation or progress toward certification. MBA or advanced degree in a related discipline. Hands-on experience preparing U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns. Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex tax issues. Solid business acumen and effective communication skills.
