Building Electrician – Building and Engineering Management Office We are looking for an experienced building electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in new and existing commercial and industrial buildings. The role requires proficiency in code compliance, blueprint reading, equipment operation, and detailed record keeping. Responsibilities Install electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and panels. Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns. Diagnose and repair faulty electrical components and equipment such as wires, circuits, transformers, and motors. Identify and fix electrical malfunctions using testing tools like ammeters and voltmeters. Adhere to electrical codes, standards, and safety protocols. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. Operate and maintain electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices. Document work completed, materials used, and service information. Job Requirements High School Graduate. Electrical Installation & Maintenance NC II certification. Minimum 2 years experience as a building electrician. Experience troubleshooting electrical & mechanical controls. Basic knowledge in CCTV, FDAS, AFSS operation and maintenance.
