Overview The Senior Team Manager - Controllership role supports the Company’s finance function. You will work closely with the Core Finance team, providing accurate financial information and analysis to stakeholders to support decision-making. Your expertise in financial reporting will contribute to the financial health and strategic direction of the Company. You will be responsible for training the team, ensuring report integrity, and driving continuous improvement within the sub-tower. Responsibilities Prepare, create, and post journals and submit for approval Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data, ensuring transactions are recorded appropriately Maintain organised and up-to-date records of reconciliation activities with supporting documentation Generate and close general ledger, AR and AP reports to review with management Upload ERP trial balance to consolidation software or system Perform Balance Sheet and Trail Balance reconciliations Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely statutory and consolidated financial statements and disclosures, ensuring regulatory alignment Collaborate with other regions to support Group consolidation processes Prepare technical accounting work papers for audit and present to management Support internal and external audit activities with required documentation and liaison with external auditors Run daily huddle processes and monitor KPIs; ensure the team is aware of targets Set and monitor daily, weekly, monthly, and annual performance targets and KPIs with the COE Controllership Tower Lead Conduct performance reviews and ensure timely discussion Submit RTO schedules to Finance Leadership Team and monitor adherence Upload monthly schedules in Datos and resolve disputes Monitor team capacity and discuss with the tower lead regularly Ad hoc responsibilities Ensure appropriate continuous professional development and awareness of changes in internal, legislative, and industry practices Interpret and implement required changes in a timely manner Support internal and external audit activities as needed The above accountabilities are not exhaustive; additional duties may be required consistent with the role Qualifications Education Higher education qualification; related field preferred Graduate of BS Accountancy or related course Qualified or part-qualified in professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA) Previous experience Minimum of 7 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or audit Experience in Big 4 audit firms is an advantage (External Hire) Languages Proficient in English Professional qualification CPA qualified What we offer Competitive salary and bonus schemes Hybrid working: up to 50% remote with 50% in-office time Paid Time Off: 30 days per year plus your birthday off Health & wellbeing: support for mental health and financial education Healthcare: comprehensive healthcare benefits About evoke evoke is the new name for 888 Holdings, embracing change and progress.
