SAP FICO Functional Consultant – Qualifications

At least 6 years of SAP experience - must have participated in at least 2 full-cycle SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementations in the role of SAP FICO Senior Consultant or SAP Finance Team Lead

In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules and integration with other SAP applications

• FI (Financial Accounting) : Financial transactions and reporting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, asset accounting, and financial statements
• CO (Controlling) : Internal cost management and reporting, including cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and profitability analysis
• AP (Accounts Payable) : Vendor invoices, payments, and liabilities
• AR (Accounts Receivable) : Customer invoices, payments, and receivables
• AA (Asset Accounting) : Fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and retirement of assets

Knowledge on the following is an advantage:

• TR (Treasury and Risk Management ): Cash management, liquidity planning, and financial risk management
• FM (Funds Management ): Budget control and monitoring of funds
• Bank Accounting (BL) : Bank master data, cash balance management, creation and processing of incoming and outgoing payments, manual/electronic payment procedures, payment forms
• SAP FICO integration with MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales and Distribution), PM (Plant Maintenance), SAP QM (Quality Management), and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM )
• SAP FICO Certification is an advantage
• Experienced in business requirements gathering, business process mapping, development of L3-L4 business process designs, and translating the business requirements into SAP FICO solutions
• Experienced in configuring and customizing SAP FICO, and development of configuration documents
• Experience in data migration and cutover of SAP FICO data objects, including master data like General Ledger accounts, business partners, cost centers, profit centers, and transactional data such as customer invoices, vendor payments, and asset acquisitions
• Capable of leading a team of internal and external team members and accountable for the SAP FICO functional design for global projects, BAU and Support
• Interfacing to IT teams, and developing relationships with Business Key Users to drive the effectiveness of the SAP solution
• Analyzing and improving business processes around Finance and Controlling
• Testing, support, and user training
• Strong cross-functional SAP knowledge in other modules and technical configurations
• Design authority and lead reviews of functional designs
• Pre- and post-SAP implementation support
• Coordinating and conducting SAP user training with Subject Matter Experts
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and RISE with SAP methodology are preferred
• Flexibility to undertake international travel where required

• Achieve, exceed or consistently exceed revenue targets
• On-time billing and timely collection of receivables
• Proactively stays abreast of Consulting’s new service capabilities and leverages them in pursuits; and
• Contributes to pursuits, generates sales opportunities, instrumental in securing work and converts into revenues
• Provides active leadership to team members to drive their idea(s) towards potential implementation; uses innovation resources available to help team members achieve goal
• Recognized as a leader with respect to flexibility and inclusiveness
• Builds teams with the intent of diversity
• Provides constructive feedback & recognition
• Proactively mentors and develops the progress of the counselees and engagement team members; and
• Proactively identifies ways to boost team performance; is sought after by others as mentor/counselor; highly skilled in people development and delegation
