Job Title: Business Analyst (L4) – Smart Cities and Urban Planning

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst at Level 4 to support initiatives in smart cities and urban planning. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, urban planners, government agencies, and technology teams to analyze business requirements, translate them into actionable insights, and support the successful implementation of smart city projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to smart city and urban planning projects.
  • Collaborate with urban planners, government officials, and technology teams to define project scope and objectives.
  • Conduct feasibility analysis and cost-benefit assessments for proposed urban planning initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders.
  • Analyze data related to urban infrastructure, transportation, environmental impact, and city services for actionable insights.
  • Develop business cases, process flow diagrams, and requirement specifications.
  • Support the design and implementation of digital solutions including GIS, IoT applications, and data analytics platforms tailored for smart city initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress and assist in change management processes.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to senior management and external partners.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in smart cities, urban planning, and business analysis best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 10 years of business analysis experience, with at least 2 years in smart cities or urban planning projects.
  • Strong understanding of urban planning concepts, smart city technologies, and sustainable development.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, GIS software, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear business requirements.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and multi-stakeholder projects.
