Purpose of the position Heads the Warehouse function that manages Receipt, Storage and issue of raw materials, packaging materials, Shipment of work in process, Finish goods materials and handling of Write-off material by executing, monitoring, and controlling the activities while meeting all the quality, financial and regulatory compliance requirements. Demonstrate Outside In behaviors and lead industry led innovation in Warehouse Space to Improve Space Utilization, Material Flow, Loading, Unloading, and other activities enabled by automation and I4.0 technologies. Lead Performance Management of warehouse KPIs and E2E flow Visualization using advanced tools and methodology. What You Will Do Key Responsibilities: Safety & People Driver behavior-based safety by proactive good Save reporting & closure IOSS ownership of critical chapters and driving actions for safe behavior Prepare and deploy JSA for all critical activities and timely closure of CAPA. Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among warehouse team members through trainings and coaching. Quality & Compliance Drive the culture of continuous improvement in quality by leading Proactive Quality program in warehouse. Ensure Always Audit Ready culture through continuous audits and area readiness. Lead INV/NC/CAPA/Audit finding investigation, Documentation, and action item on time closure as key CFT member. Warehouse Operation Familiarity with warehouse automation technologies such as automated guided vehicles (AGVs), robotics, and warehouse management systems (WMS). Experience implementing and optimizing warehouse automation solutions to enhance space utilization, streamline flow, and increase efficiency. Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits. Train and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency. Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and resolve any discrepancies. Monitor equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of warehouse machinery. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse processes. Collaborate with management to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: KPS/ZBB/Lean/Automation Lead Simplification & Standardization in warehouse activities to create value. Develop and deploy standard work in warehouse area. Lead Zero Based Budget data analysis and implement improvement opportunities. Lead CIP Projects to improve capacity, resource and other opex optimization. Lead Managing Site Performance in KPS way for warehouse KPIs. Qualifications What We Are Looking For Skills (applied knowledge and technical skills related to this position) Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 5-6 years in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations. Knowledge of Quality Systems (GMP, ISO9001,14001), INV/NC/CAPA and GDP. Drive innovation; anticipate and shape industry and market changes in warehouse space. Qualification: Education: Industrial/Mechanical Engineering/ Preferred Post-graduation in Operations. Experienced in manufacturing or Warehouse operations. GB/BB Lean/Six Sigma Certification desirable. Industry Preference: FMCG/Consumer Health.
