The primary purpose of the Business Development Manager Asia is to drive strategic growth within a designated oversea geography for all business lines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market Entry Strategy
  • Analyze the market to identify opportunities, trends, key players, and potential challenges.
  • Benchmark against local competitors and identify unique selling points (USPs) to position the company effectively.
  • Understand the target industries, key decision-makers, and buying behaviors.
  • Business Development & Lead Generation
  • Proactively identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and partners in target industries.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build a robust network and increase brand awareness.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities.
  • Operate independently, leveraging creativity and resourcefulness to identify new opportunities.
  • Propose innovative ways to adapt solutions to the needs of the local market.
  • Launch pilot projects, gather feedback, and iteratively improve the market approach.
  • Liaise with the European headquarters for marketing, technical support, and strategic alignment.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the European team to refine offerings and strategy.
  • Brand Building
  • Promote the company through speaking engagements, articles, or white papers that establish expertise in the industry.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Master’s degree in Business Management or similar by experience
  • Track record of successfully developing and executing business plans, managing and motivating teams, and achieving financial goals
  • Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop a tailored market-entry strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Expertise in generating leads, managing the sales pipeline, and negotiating complex B2B deals to close partnerships and contracts effectively.
  • Capacity to independently identify challenges, propose innovative solutions, and adapt strategies to achieve goals in dynamic market conditions.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with international teams, bridge cultural differences, and represent the brand effectively in the target market.
