Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures. Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing. Ensure compliance with Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) , Cybercrime Prevention Act (RA 10175) , and global frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.). Monitor and respond to security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems. Lead incident response activities — detection, containment, recovery, and post-incident reporting. Oversee patch management, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation. Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Manage IAM, MFA, and privileged account security. Conduct security awareness training and phishing simulations for employees. Report on cybersecurity posture, risks, and incidents to senior management. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or IT-related field (Master’s or certifications preferred). 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related roles. Experience in vulnerability remediation, DevOps, and systems administration (Windows/Linux). Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection . Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP). In-depth understanding of Philippine Cybersecurity and Data Privacy laws . Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISA, CCSP . Excellent analytical, communication, and incident management skills.
