Job Brief

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to support and strengthen the organizations cybersecurity posture. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding the company's IT infrastructure by supporting cybersecurity initiatives, coordinating with global teams, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and is proactive in implementing security measures and controls to protect business-critical assets.



Key Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Initiatives & Project Implementation

  • Support the execution and rollout of various cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective implementation.

Risk Assessment & Vulnerability Management

  • Assist in conducting annual Cyber Risk Assessments (CRA) and Vulnerability Assessments as required by Head Office.
  • Contribute to identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks.

Global Coordination & Compliance

  • Liaise with Head Office and the Asia Pacific Corporate Function Coordination Department (APCF) on cybersecurity-related matters.
  • Ensure alignment with global security frameworks and compliance requirements.

IT Operations Support

  • Provide technical support in IT operations to maintain secure and stable infrastructure.
  • Assist in managing security incidents and coordinating responses.

Continuous Monitoring & Improvement

  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices.
  • Recommend enhancements to existing security protocols and policies.


Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Advanced training or certifications in cybersecurity is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or related IT security functions.
  • Holds relevant Cybersecurity Certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+).
  • Strong knowledge of network security protocols and concepts.
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), NIST frameworks, and reputable cybersecurity information sources (e.g., ISAC).
