Documentation Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Documentation Specialist based in Manila to work remotely with our architecture and interiors team in Australia. This is a full-time remote position supporting multiple projects through comprehensive documentation, 3D modelling, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation & Technical Drawing

• Produce high-quality architectural and interior design documentation

• Create detailed construction drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and details

• Develop interior documentation including furniture layouts, finishes schedules, and joinery details

• Maintain drawing standards and ensure consistency across project documentation

• Coordinate with Australian team to ensure documentation meets local building codes and standards

Project Support

• Set up new projects in ArchiCAD with correct templates and standards

• Manage project files, libraries, and collaborative workflows

• Coordinate drawing revisions and maintain version control

• Support project teams with technical documentation requirements

• Assist with specification writing and material schedules

3D Modelling & Visualisation

• Create and maintain detailed 3D models in ArchiCAD

• Produce 3D renderings and visualisations (advantage)

• Generate presentation materials and client-facing visuals

• Support design development through 3D modelling

Essential Requirements

Experience & Portfolio

• Minimum 3-5 years experience working for an Australian architectural practice (Essential)

• Must be able to provide a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating work completed for Australian practices

• Proven experience in both architectural and interior design documentation

• Strong understanding of Australian building standards, codes, and documentation requirements

Technical Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in ArchiCAD (Essential - most important requirement)

• Advanced knowledge of ArchiCAD's collaborative features (BIMcloud/BIMserver)

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

• Microsoft Office Suite

• 3D rendering software experience (Enscape, or similar) - highly desirable

Professional Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Understanding of construction methods and building systems

• Experience with Australian building codes and compliance requirements

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of interior design principles and FF&E coordination

• Rendering and visualisation skills (V-Ray, Twinmotion, Lumion)

Working Arrangements

• Full-time remote position based in Manila

• Working hours to align with Australian Eastern Standard Time business hours

• Regular video conferencing with Australian team

• Collaborative work environment with shared project files and resources
