Director, Operations The Director/Senior Manager, Global Program Lead is a critical leadership role responsible for the overall operational, commercial, and strategic success of the global delivery engagement for Preqin. This leader will serve as the single point of accountability for a substantial operation. The focus is on driving service excellence, profitability, and acting as a strategic partner to the client by ensuring process maturity, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Hybrid setup: candidates must be okay working in Paranaque and BGC. Responsibilities Strategic & Financial Leadership P&L Ownership: Directly manage and be accountable for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the account. This includes revenue forecasting, diligent cost management, and margin expansion strategies to ensure long-term commercial health. Efficiency and Innovation: Proactively identify operational gaps and bottlenecks across the organization. Design, champion, and lead the implementation of high‑impact efficiency initiatives (e.g., automation, workflow optimization, technology adoption) to enhance productivity and quality. Commercial Growth: Partner closely with Sales Partners to support the client's growth strategy, identify upselling/cross‑selling opportunities, and frame solutions that deliver measurable value. Global Operations & Governance Global Delivery Oversight: Direct and unify the operations for approximately ~300 FTEs spread across the two primary delivery locations: India and the Philippines. Subject Matter Expertise (SME): Ensure high‑quality delivery by leveraging deep understanding and direct experience in alternative assets, private equity, hedge funds, financial data, or specialized financial research. Governance & Maturity: Create, implement, and enforce robust organizational governance (policies, quality frameworks, standardized processes, and risk management) to mature the delivery model and standardize service quality across all geographies. Risk Mitigation: Ensure operational stability and regulatory compliance within the financial data/research domain. Client & Stakeholder Management Executive Client Relationship: Serve as the primary executive client interface and trusted operational advisor for stakeholders, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and partnership. Internal Alignment: Manage communication and alignment with internal support functions (e.g., HR, Technology, Finance) and senior internal leadership (VP/SVP) to secure resources and align strategic goals. Qualifications Experience Level : Minimum 7 - 10 years of progressive experience in the BPO/IT‑ITES or Financial Services/Data industry, with at least 5-7 years in a Senior Management or Director‑level role managing large programs. Financial Mandate : Direct, verifiable experience owning and managing P&L for a multi‑million‑dollar program or cost center. Industry Expertise (Mandatory) : Demonstrable professional experience in the Alternative Assets, Private Markets, Financial Data, or Specialized Financial Research sector that aligns directly with the business. Global Leadership : Proven success in leading and scaling operations across diverse, multi‑cultural geographies, specifically with direct oversight in India and the Philippines. Operational Transformation : A track record of designing and successfully implementing efficiency, operational excellence, or process re‑engineering programs across large teams. Education : Bachelor's degree required. A Master's degree (MBA or relevant Finance/Data certification, e.g., CFA, PMP, Lean Six Sigma) is strongly preferred. Required Skills Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in financial analysis and P&L management. Experience with operational efficiency initiatives. Preferred Skills Experience in the alternative assets or financial data sectors. Familiarity with technology adoption in operational processes.
