About Us Our client is a full-service digital marketing agency specializing in helping contractors specifically remodelers dominate their local markets. We\'ve been in business for approximately two and a half years and have experienced significant growth. We\'re a collaborative, results-driven team that values accountability, strategic thinking, and genuine passion for delivering measurable outcomes for our clients. About This Role We\'re seeking a full-time SEO Manager who truly understands local SEO for contractors and remodelers. This isn\'t a "check-the-box and send reports" position. We need someone who thinks about outcomes, not just tasks, someone who gets genuinely excited about winning in SEO and helping our clients generate more revenue. You\'ll be managing approximately 10 clients at the start, scaling up to a maximum of 15 before we bring on additional team members. This role offers a clear career trajectory with opportunities to grow into leading a department as we scale. What You\'ll Be Doing Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles with tracking links, posts, services, products, reviews, and ongoing optimizations Run and monitor heat maps and generate strategic action plans for improvement Manage local citations, NAP consistency, and reputation signals Research and build "Big Five" content topics for remodelers using the "They Ask, You Answer" framework Create high-quality content strategies including service pages, service area pages, blogs, FAQs, and project pages Develop content outlines and coordinate uploads with our WordPress developer Set up comprehensive tracking systems to monitor performance and baseline metrics Provide weekly ranking reports and monthly performance reviews with strategic recommendations backed by data Own the results and proactively communicate what you need to succeed Collaborate with the team including the agency owner and office manager on strategy refinement and execution What We\'re Looking For The Ideal Candidate: Thinks revenue first, not keywords first - You understand that clients care about SEO because they want more money in their pocket Owns accountability - You don\'t wait to be told what to do; you identify what needs to happen and make it happen Research-driven decision maker - Every recommendation you make is backed by solid data, not gut feelings Proactive communicator - You speak up when you need resources, see issues, or have better ideas Results-obsessed - You\'re passionate about getting keywords to rank higher and making clients more money Strategic thinker - You can review existing SOPs and strategies, then recommend improvements and optimizations Self-directed - You can work independently for extended periods but know when to reach out for support Growth-minded - You\'re excited about eventually growing into leading a department What We Don\'t Want: Someone who just completes tasks without understanding the "why" Someone who needs constant micromanagement Someone who waits too long to communicate issues or needs Qualifications Proven experience in local SEO , preferably for contractors or home services industries Strong understanding of Google Business Profile optimization and local search ranking factors Experience with SEO tools (we currently use SearchAtlas, but experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools is acceptable) Demonstrated ability to conduct keyword research and competitive analysis Knowledge of content strategy and on-page optimization Experience with tracking, analytics, and reporting Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) Self-starter mentality with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work during hours that allow for collaboration with US-based team Preferred Familiarity with ClickUp or similar project management tools Understanding of the remodeling/contractor industry Experience building and implementing SEO strategies from established SOPs Tools You\'ll Use SearchAtlas (or similar SEO platforms) ClickUp for project management Google Workspace WordPress (with developer support) To Apply Ready to take the next step?
