The Civil Designer will play a key technical role in project delivery, applying civil engineering design and modelling to develop high-quality solutions. You will design roads, carparks, earthworks, drainage, utility services, water and sewer systems, and pavements, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ANZ-based stakeholders to meet project requirements efficiently and accurately. Prepare and review detailed civil design, drawings, models, and documentation using AutoCAD, 12d, Civil 3D, and other relevant design tools. Develop and manage 3D models to support project execution. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Ensure designs meet client specifications, ANZ standards or similar, environmental regulations, and safety standards. Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical reporting. Coordinate with project managers to ensure timelines, budgets and quality benchmarks are achieved. Mentor junior designers and review their work for technical accuracy and compliance. Liaise with ANZ-based stakeholders and clients for project updates and reviews. Stay updated with ANZ design standards, codes and best practices. Support tender preparation, cost estimation, and technical proposals when required. We expect you to share our passion for re-imagining engineering and to pursue continuous learning. You will need: Minimum 5 years of engineering design experience with a background in roads, carparks, earthworks, drainage, water, sewer and other utility services designs, pavement design, and related civil infrastructure. Proven skills in design and documentation of civil infrastructure to ANZ standards or similar. Proficiency in design software including 12d, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD. Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering design standards and practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, teamwork, and self-motivation. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a remote or multi-location team setting. Knowledge in Autodesk Construction Cloud is an advantage.
