The role of the Revenue Assurance Analyst is primarily responsible for ensuring that the revenue recognized by the company is correctly and adequately reported and collected. In addition, this role includes the responsibility of maintaining good relationships with the company’s customers and stakeholders. He/she also:

  1. Creates the customer card records in the accounting system.
  2. Prepares and issues billings, invoices and statement of accounts to customers.
  3. Ensures proper recognition and presentation of revenue in the books.
  4. Ensures timely reconciliation of customer account balances.
  5. Ensures that the customer’s account balances are collected in a timely manner.
  6. Collaborates with Treasury to ensure timely and accurate application of payments made by the clients.
  7. Resolves past due and disputed accounts through consistent coordination with the customers.
  8. Submits monthly financial reports to management, which include, but are not limited to, Revenue Analysis and Accounts Receivable Aging Report.
  9. Supports the Senior Management Team and Department heads with in-depth analysis.
  10. Analyzes current and past financial trends and key performance indicators involving revenues.
  11. Reviews process workflow and detailed instructions.
  12. Ensures strong internal controls surrounding the revenue reporting process.
  13. Supports audits carried out by internal and external auditors.
  14. Initiates and implements process improvements to drive accuracy and efficiency.
  15. Deals with internal and external clients for all revenue-related activities.
  16. Collaborates regularly with other departments to improve processes and procedures.
Functional Competencies
  1. Must be knowledgeable in regulatory and statutory requirements.
  2. Excellent systems skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems.
  3. Proficient in MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, preferably with SharePoint and Outlook background).
  4. Strong team player with the ability to interact with all levels of staff in the organization.
  5. Works quickly with a sense of urgency.
  6. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  7. High level of integrity.
Education and Work Background
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field, preferably CPA.
  2. Minimum of one (1) relevant year of experience in general accounting and finance.
