Supply Planner - 1 year Fixed Term

Main Purpose of the Job: Build supply plans respecting the agreed level of available capacity to ensure that finished and semi-finished goods are available with high freshness, at the right stock location at the right time and quantity, to meet customer demand whilst minimizing cost (optimize service at the best E2E cost). Manage the Supply Network of the assigned area by replenishing each dispatch point to meet customer service objectives whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that also takes into account distribution costs.

Key Output

• Drive end to end supply planning ensuring availability while balancing flexibility and reliability.
• Establish an 18 month production plan for factories within scope (including sub-contracting, co-manufacturing, co-packers, co-fillers where relevant) that respects available capacity defined.
• Establish Committed Capacity, including timing proposals for plant shutdowns, investments, and provide information on labor requirements.
• Analyze net dispatch requirements and maintain a coordinated set of supply and deployment plans of finished/semi-finished goods to meet demand within min/max stock corridors while minimizing total delivered costs, considering network complexity, supply and transportation constraints.
• Ensure smooth implementation of promotional activities and new product launches protecting COF and minimizing write-off.
• Establish and revise stock policies for Finished Goods for all stock locations, together with Planners of Receiving Markets for IMS products; proactively seek solutions in case of deviations.

Cross-Functional Opportunities

• Provide visibility on future supply issues or constraints and support decision making by providing simulated alternative supply scenarios (scenario planning) that balance available capacity, materials, and demand.
• Challenge Manufacturing and Production planners to drive optimum FG inventory and freshness; support Demand Planner to improve Demand Planning Accuracy.
• Monitor requirements evolution and identify issues with volume variance that may impact supply and highlight to affected functions.
• Act as Process Champion (Champs) of a user-specific/defined process (ways of working); may not be the same scope as a Super User or SME.

Communication & Execution

• Effectively communicate relevant information highlighting supply issues, impacts, trade-offs, and ensure actions and supply plans are realistic and achievable in line with the Business Planning process and long-term master production schedule.
• Ensure proper SNP visibility for events (new product launches, discontinuations); participate in key meetings and reviews (DOR, WOR, WPR, OpsDSR, etc.); support or drive NCE/LEAN initiatives related to DSP.

Long-Term Planning

• Drive discussions with cross-functional teams in category areas that may impact scope; actively support Annual Volume Commitment and Strategic Volume Planning (Capex Planning) with capacity simulations, scenario planning, and contingency proposals.
• Provide visibility to Transportation, Logistics and Procurement on medium/long-term horizons to prepare transportation negotiations and capacity booking.

System & Data Management

• Review and maintain relevant master data to ensure reliable system visibility; perform health checks and housekeeping in weekly planning cycles.

Key Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant operational experience in areas such as Factory Planning, Factory Logistics, or other Supply Planning roles (MPS, SNP, DPS, IMSP, IMS, Import/Export, Foreign Trade, Procurement).
• Experience in Factory Production Team Lead and exposure to Customer Service / Customer Facing Supply Chain is helpful.
• Relevant practice in Product Life Cycle, Factory Master Data Management, CAPEX, Strategic Planning/SBR, NCE.
