Desktop Support Engineer Team Lead (Ortigas Pasig)

Job Description

  • Leads single point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organizations desktop computing environment.
  • Ensures optimal workstation performance by installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment.
  • Troubleshoots IT problem areas (in person, by telephone or via remote access) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provides end-user assistance when required.
  • Supervises Technical Support team, manages escalation, ensures smooth flow of communication; disseminates instructions from client.

Qualifications

  • Required skills: technical support, people management.
  • Willing to work in Ortigas Pasig.
  • Flexible in working hours/schedule/shifting schedule.
  • At least 1 year of experience as IT Team Lead.
  • Open to project-based employment, good for 1 year renewable contract.

Job Type : Fixed term

Contract length : 12 months

Schedule : 8 hour shift

Education : Bachelors (preferred)

Experience : Senior IT Support / Team Lead: 1 year (preferred)

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors/College Degree in any field; IT-related course preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year international BPO experience supporting a technical account.
  • Knowledge in HTML, CSS, and Photoshop is a plus.
  • Excellent English writing; good speaking skills.
  • Willing to work night shift.
