About the role As an Engineering Supervisor at Holiday Plaza Hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel's engineering department. This is a full-time position based in Cebu City, Cebu, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the hotel's critical infrastructure and equipment. What you’ll be doing Supervise and coordinate the work of the engineering team, including technicians and maintenance staff Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to proactively address issues with the hotel's systems and equipment Troubleshoot and resolve any malfunctions or breakdowns in a timely manner Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards Monitor and control the department's budget, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any engineering-related issues that may impact hotel operations Provide training and development opportunities to the engineering team to enhance their skills and knowledge What we’re looking for Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the engineering or maintenance industry, preferably in the hospitality sector Strong technical expertise in the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices in the engineering field Strong leadership and team-management skills What we offer At Holiday Plaza Hotel, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work experience.
