Competitive Rewards: above-market compensation, healthcare coverage day one, dependent coverage, paid time‑off with cash conversion, group life insurance, performance bonuses A Collaborative Spirit: contribute to a positive work environment through company‑sponsored events and activities Work‑Life Harmony: flexible arrangements to fit your schedule Career Growth: continuous learning and advancement opportunities Inclusive Teamwork: a culture that celebrates diversity and fosters inclusion Your Role As a Medical Writer, you will: Analyze, gather, and document clinical requirements using best practices as defined by Clinical Management Validate clinical requirements (including content requirements) in collaboration with subject‑matter experts—such as ClaimsXten experts, certified coders, auditors, consultants, and medical directors—to guarantee correct coding guideline interpretations Collaborate with the Rule Writers team and cross‑functional teammates to evaluate rule/policy behavior and confirm that solution requirements meet business expectations and align with client implementation standards Document content requirements to promote immediate post‑release content maintenance handoffs Serve as a contributor to all user documentation (edit clarifications, Rules Guide, etc.) Assist with all end‑user training activities Support Quality Assurance test plan validation Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) of policies and/or rules Provide requirements subject‑matter expertise to internal and external clients Qualifications Bachelor's degree in health information management, nursing, or another healthcare‑related field Professional certification: AAPC Certified Professional Coders (CPC) or AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist—Physician (CCS‑P) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) 5+ years relevant healthcare experience, with at least 2 years as a payment/reimbursement or medical policy analyst, medical coder, medical claims processor, chart reviewer/auditor, or clinical editing analyst 2+ years of relevant experience with the ClaimsXten solution Effective communication skills; expert at presenting complex material across all mediums Strong analytical skills to examine complex data, identify trends, and assess potential vulnerabilities Superior critical‑thinking abilities Proficiency in Microsoft applications Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle Master’s degree in a healthcare‑related field Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and payment policies and methodologies Working knowledge of pre‑payment editing and payment integrity About MicroSourcing With over 9,000 professionals across 13 delivery centers, MicroSourcing is the pioneer and largest offshore provider of managed services in the Philippines.
