Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst role supports the accounting and reporting processes for the WAM Private Markets Legal Entity Reporting team. The position ensures the accuracy of financial information flowing into the General Ledger, supporting management reports and financial decision-making. There are opportunities for upskilling within the team and broader function through certification training and exams.
Position Responsibilities- Accounting close: ensure accuracy and integrity of data; develop standardized accounting models and GL structure.
- Reporting: lead and prepare all financial, regulatory and legal entity reporting deliverables.
- Minimum of 3 years in relevant industry.
- Adept in journal entries, account reconciliation and flux analysis.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel (mastery of formulas and pivot tables is a must; VBA is a plus). Proficient in MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Experience in Finance Shared Service industry.
- Knowledge of Global Wealth and Asset Management business.
- Background in financial statements and board reports preparation.
