Finance and Accounting Manager (Bangkok Based, Relocation Support Provided) Location: Bangkok-based role with relocation support. Agency location: Agoda Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines. Overview // Overview content retained and structured for clarity. // In this Role, you'll get to Work closely with other stakeholders in the Company and lead financial reporting and operating functions to understand and assess the impact of the Company’s initiatives and projects. Manage and implement Company’s initiatives and projects from the finance and accounting perspective, including providing requirements, designing, performing UAT, designing new workflow, monitoring post-go-live processes, and troubleshooting. Identify and drive process and technology improvement opportunities. Provide reports and analyze the Company’s financial performance to support management decision making. Address ad-hoc requests and issues (e.g., data extraction/analysis, risk and scope assessments over new initiatives). Coordinate with various operations and support units to ensure timely and accurate data for internal and external reporting. Manage day-to-day financial activities; control financial resources; ensure all transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards. Troubleshoot problems, identifying impacts (financial reporting, real economic impact, operational impact); identify potential control gaps and areas for improvement. Supervise day-to-day operations and month-end closing for related areas. Maintain internal control environment in line with corporate policy, anti-corruption controls, and SOX requirements. Provide oversight, training, and coaching to department associates. Perform other related duties as assigned. What you'll Need to Succeed Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance 8–12 years of experience including finance operations (accounts payable or accounts receivable), risk control, or finance functions with some management experience Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively Dynamic, fast-paced environment adaptability with a growth mindset Energetic, initiative, and good communication skills Experience in project management Good command of both spoken and written English Excellent leadership and team management skills Skilled in presentation design and delivery using tools like PowerPoint Strong computer proficiency, especially in Excel Familiar with local/US GAAP and knowledge of financial and accounting management and internal controls It’s great if you have CPA and/or Audit background Experience leading a team Experience in payment solutions or credit card environment Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools, Macro Excel Accounting experience in online travel agency business Equal Opportunity Employer At Agoda, we pride ourselves on being a company represented by people of all different backgrounds and orientations.
