Overview As a Transaction Risk Analyst II, you will work closely with a team of analysts and the Transaction Risk Manager for RealPage Payments Services Inc (RPPSI), a Third-Party Payments Processor (TPPP) and Buildium Payments (Payfac). This position assists in the day-to-day support of Transaction Monitoring (TM) control processes and works to identify and assess various transaction related risks throughout the assigned business lines. Responsibilities Work daily in transaction monitoring software queue with other transaction risk analysts to clear and escalate system generated alerts in a timely manner. Review ACH and credit card transactions for unusual spikes in volume and/or return activity, both at the micro (Consumer/Payor) and macro (Property Management Company) levels. Work on assigned tasks (outside of software) from departmental duties checklist. Triages second level review alerts in transaction monitoring software and assist with escalation process; maintain case management skills. Draft reports of findings for case dispositions. Assign alerts to level I analysts. Participate in BSA/AML/Fraud compliance training to stay up to date on financial crime trends as it relates to the payments industry. Qualifications Graduate of any four-year program. Three plus years’ experience in Bank Secrecy Act or Anti-Money Laundering Compliance (BSA/AML), financial crime investigations, or related work experience in a financial institution environment. CAMS certification is a plus but not required. Must be willing to work a fixed night shift schedule. Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products. Strong communication skills (written and oral). Experience reading bank ledgers and understanding ACH and credit card returns. Detail oriented and able to work independently. Ability to explain data assessments and findings clearly. Ability to prioritize work and manage time to meet deadlines. Flexibility in terms of work arrangement (On Site, Home, Hybrid).
