A DAY IN THE LIFE … Supervise ocean shipments processes and execution in order to allow smooth operations for Nestlé ocean deliveries by: Executing ocean transport operations ensuring the stock is shipped on time to fulfil Nestlé Markets requirements (IMS and R&P); Managing and guiding the usage of Shipments Management Systems, enhancing visibility and fostering collaboration across our customers and suppliers; Maintaining close relationships with Markets, Suppliers, Shippers, Ocean Carriers and Global Logistics Procurement, solving issues and driving performances toward expected service levels. Key Outputs: Check if orders were replicated from SAP in the Ocean Platform and convert requirements into containers for forecast submitted by the markets Upload template file with volumes submitted by the markets in Ocean platform and verify shipments/orders to be booked with planner in the market Check the allocation per nominated carriers and optimize all bookings per lane (real time with execution of the booking) Submit booking to Carrier through Ocean platform (4 to 6 weeks prior to desired ETD) and check submitted bookings without Carrier response Follow up on the confirmed bookings before planned dispatch (1 to 2 weeks prior ETD) and assign Transfer order (STPO/Sales Order) to booking orders in Ocean Platform Provide visibility to the markets about booking confirmation (Only for exceptions) and update empty container release information Additional Operational activities and continuous Improvement & Projects ARE YOU A FIT? Bachelor’s degreein Logistics, Supply chain and Finance. Significant experience minimum 5 years in Ocean freight forwarding industry / Shipping Lines (import / export operations) Experience in Physical Logistics, Project management in Supply Chain, Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address and influence internal and external customers; Adaptability to change in fast-paced environment; Inclined to Continuous Improvement. Analytical mindset, ability to understand the story behind the data. Team player High tolerance to stress, personal time management Adaptability to cope in fast-paced environment Able to build strong professional relationship Able to propose and implement improvements in procedures Will able to execute work with minimal supervision #J-18808-Ljbffr
