SENIOR CLOUD ENGINEER JOB SUMMARY: You’ll play a key role in deploying and maintaining cloud environments across major platforms such asAWS andAliCloud , working closely with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and reliability. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure acrosshyperscaler platforms likeAWS ,AliCloud , and others. Develop and optimize cloud-based solutions tailored to meet client needs and project requirements. Support cloud migration, deployment, and disaster recovery activities. Work closely with developers and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues. Monitor system performance and make recommendations to improve stability, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Evaluate emerging cloud tools and technologies, and provide input on their relevance and value to our projects. Implement security and compliance practices to protect client data and align with industry standards. Maintain clear documentation, including system architecture, deployment processes, and standard operating procedures. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. ExperiencewithHyperscalerplatforms,particularlyAWS(L2levelpreferred)andAliCloud. Hands-onexperienceinclouddeployment,migration,anddisasterrecoveryplanning. SolidbackgroundinLinuxsystems. FamiliarwithvirtualizationandcontainerizationtechnologiessuchasDockerorKubernetes. Experienceworkingcloselywithdeveloperstodelivercloud-nativeapplicationsandinfrastructure. AWS & Cloud Computing Skills: Compute Services AmazonECS –Deploying,managing,andscalingcontainerizedapplications. AmazonEC2 –Provisioningandconfiguringvirtualmachinesforvariousworkloads. Databases AmazonRDS – Managingrelationaldatabases(MySQL,PostgreSQL,etc.)inthecloud,includingbackups,scaling,andsecurity. Storage Solutions AmazonS3 –Cloudobjectstoragefordatabackup,archiving,andhostingstaticcontent. EBS/EFS –BlockandfilestorageoptionsforEC2instances. Containerization & Orchestration Docker–Buildingandmanagingcontainerizedapplications. Kubernetes(basiclevel)–Understandingpods,services,andbasicdeployments. Monitoring & Optimization CPU,memory,andnetworkutilizationmonitoringwithAWSCloudWatch. ProfessionalExperience YearsofExperience :3yearsincloudcomputingandAWSservices. ManagedandmaintainedAWS-basedinfrastructureforscalability,availability,andsecurity. Hands-ondeployment,configuration,andtroubleshootingofAWSresourcesinproductionenvironments. Implementedcostoptimizationstrategiesandautomatedprovisioningusingscriptsor InfrastructureasCode(IaC)tools(e.g.,AWSCloudFormationorTerraform). Strongproblem-solvingandtroubleshootingskills. Goodwrittencommunicationskillsfortechnicaldocumentationandcollaboration. MustbewillingtoworkonsiteorinahybridsetupandopentooccasionaltraveltoBGC .
