Recruitment Consultant @ Socium - Teams Done Differently Job Overview We’re looking for a Cloud Network Engineer to join our client’s global cloud engineering team. In this role, you’ll work with engineers across different countries to design, build, and manage public cloud solutions that support DevOps teams worldwide. You’ll collaborate closely with other Cloud Engineers, DevOps, SRE, and DevSecOps professionals to deliver secure, reliable, and compliant infrastructure in a dynamic cloud environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud infrastructure and platform features Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environments Develop technical solutions that align with business and security requirements Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) to improve quality, performance, and cost-efficiency Provide technical support and consultation to other engineering teams Manage and maintain cloud applications and platforms, including updates and upgrades Implement and enforce required security controls and policies Participate in on-call rotation for platform support and incident response Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize deliverables and backlog items Create and maintain documentation for processes and technical solutions Contribute to defining engineering standards and best practices Key Skills & Experience Hands‑on experience with Azure Cloud Services (AWS or GCP also considered) Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Solid understanding of Cloud Networking Services (Firewalls, VNets/VPCs, Gateways, Load Balancers, DNS) Experience creating CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) Proficiency in scripting or coding (Python, Bash, or Golang) Familiar with Linux‑based systems (Debian or similar) Knowledge of network security concepts (WAF, DDoS, TLS, Policy as Code, Zero Trust) Understanding of network fundamentals (VPN, BGP, MPLS, DNS) Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus Qualifications Strong understanding of public cloud concepts, DevOps, and CI/CD Background in cloud networking and security best practices Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Innovative mindset with a desire to explore and apply new cloud technologies Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Information Technology Business Consulting and Services Get notified about new Cloud Engineer jobs in Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines.
