What You’ll Do Build, optimize, and maintain Shopify stores for performance and conversion. Develop custom themes and features using Liquid , JavaScript , HTML , and CSS . Work with Shopify APIs and create or enhance custom apps. Audit and improve page load speed using PageSpeed Insights , GTmetrix , or Lighthouse . Debug and troubleshoot Shopify themes or app issues. Collaborate with designers, marketers, and developers to deliver cohesive brand experiences. Manage multiple projects, stay organized, and communicate clearly on Zoom and project tools. What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiables) 3+ years of professional Shopify development experience. Strong command of Liquid , JavaScript , HTML , and CSS . Experience with Shopify Plus and custom app development. Portfolio or links to Shopify stores you’ve built or optimized. Proven ability to optimize site speed and handle Shopify’s core web vitals. Excellent written and spoken English . Reliable internet connection (minimum 120 Mbps). Based in the Philippines. Full-time availability during Australian business hours. Nice to Have Experience working with Australian clients or agencies. Familiarity with the Ella theme or other performance-oriented Shopify themes.
