Area Sales Supervisor

Area Sales Supervisor is responsible for a variety of tasks, often involving many separate retail locations. One primary responsibility involves the management of employees, as well as ensuring that all locations are properly staffed and all employees are well-trained and satisfied with their jobs. Also responsible for inventory analysis, which involves keeping track of sales figures and inventory requirements and using this information to make estimates on optimal stock levels. Responsible for maintaining the pleasing visual appearances of their retail locations in order to attract customers and optimize the use of space; they may also train employees to maintain their stores' appearances. Recruitment, training, and supervision of store personnel Build and/or maintain retail stores physically and for permits, signs, safety, and quality control. Perform analysis of the data to identify opportunities to increase efficiency, workflow, quality, and sales. Support service and operations at retail stores, including managing inventory, procurement, staffing, and online presence. Ensure the profitability of retail stores by controlling costs and expenditures, pursuing marketing ideas, and delivering high quality products. Maintain, update, and enforce safety and security procedures. On-the-floor refresher training of Sales Associates Initiate instructions given by the immediate superior for Branch Supervisors and Sales Cashier. Report all observed concerns of Sales Cashiers and Branch Supervisor. Assist immediate superior in the evaluation of sales performance Check and ensure daily logging of sales and updates on inventory are properly accomplished by Branch Supervisor & Sales Cashier. Give updates to Branch Supervisor & Sales Cashier on product Knowledge & merchandise technology Delegate management memos and instructions. Collating of sales reports. Assist immediate superior in proper coordination with Merchandising, Marketing, warehouse, Human resources, audit & accounting departments for smooth operation needs. Basic spot auditing of stores Give assistance to HR in probing for new Branch Supervisor & Sales Cashier who are qualified for hiring Give assistance to merchandising on proper stock allocation of items Managing both consignment and outright business operations and be responsible overeeing daily operational processes Review collections, reports, and accounting requirements for sales invoice Experience Minimum of 3 years work experience in sales. Minimum of 3 years work experience in supervising and managing a professional staff of at least five. Education College degree preferably related to sales or marketing Required Skills, Knowledge, and Characteristics Excellent communication and coordination skills Must be very organized in handling sales records and paperwork Passion in training to shape individuals to reach company requirements Proficient in word & excel applications Strong background in retail sales operations Sound decision making on the concerns regarding sales and manpower Must have strong ability to assess manpower movements and evaluation Must have an eye for spotting profitable sale events and profitable business partners Strong effective communicator, both in oral and written forms. Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills. Good at sales analysis. Knowledgeable in inventory management. Ability to coordinate the efforts of a large team of diverse creative employees. Has training skills. Detailed oriented. Good at project management. Has a good decision-making skill. Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
