Maintenance Plumber - Philippines (Consolidated Postings)

Job Description

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as Maintenance Plumber/Plumber or related field
  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems
  • Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
  • Undertake a variety of plumbing tasks ranging from fixing leaks to installing pipes and HVAC systems
  • Handle plumbing tools and equipment such as pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.
  • Monitor and maintain plumbing systems; installation of plumbing systems
  • Perform necessary repairs and stay up to date with safety regulations and requirements for various plumbing systems
  • Multitasking and ability to coordinate with contractors and suppliers for specialized repairs or replacements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship preferred
  • Valid plumbing license (if required by local regulations)
  • Proven experience as a plumber/maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; physically able to perform manual labor

Responsibilities (general)

  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures (pipes, faucets, toilets, sinks, water heaters, drainage)
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems; identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and building policies
  • Coordinate with contractors, manage work orders, and maintain maintenance logs
  • Assist with basic civil works (masonry, waterproofing, tile setting, minor concrete repairs) as needed
  • Provide clear communication with tenants, residents, or managers regarding plumbing issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas; ensure proper use of tools and PPE

Preferred Contexts

  • Experience in hospitals, building facilities, or large maintenance environments is advantageous
  • Ability to start ASAP and work in shifts or flexible schedules
