VP for Government Relations - Renewable Energy
- Strategically enable, facilitate and drive the engagement of key agencies to secure critical decisions that enable the achievement of the organization strategic initiatives. The scope includes, but is not limited to policies, regulations and permits.
- To anticipate emerging decisions that pose a risk to organization's business and initiatives, and lead the appropriate engagements to head things off.
- To build and maintain formal and informal network of relationships within key agencies
- To support organization compliance to rules and regulations.
- To anticipate movement of key people within agencies and position the organization to build relationships with incoming personalities.
- To support the continuous improvement of organization capabilities and processes, especially with respect to stakeholder engagement.
- To provide strategic leadership to the government relations team including but not limited to strategic/tactical planning, capability development, performance management and culture building.
