ADVANCE.AI Makati, National Capital Region, Philippines We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fixed Term Accountant to join our finance team for 1 year. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) activities, ensure financial compliance, and provide key support in reporting and audit processes. This role reports to the Assistant Finance Manager. About The Role Position: Accountant (Accounts Receivable) – Night Shift Term: Fixed term, 1 year Location: Makati, Philippines (onsite four days a week) Responsibilities includes day-to-day accounting operations: AP, AR, and GL; issuing invoices; processing payments; ERP invoice coding; assisting with audit and tax documentation; ensuring adherence to Group Financial Policies and internal controls; supporting business units with merchant-related queries; and preparing month-end and year-end financial reports; BIR submissions as needed. Responsibilities Manage daily accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger. Issue invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner. Process payments through the online banking platform. Upload and code invoices into the ERP system. Assist in preparing documents and reports required for audit and tax compliance. Ensure adherence to Group Financial Policies and internal controls. Provide support to business units in resolving merchant-related queries. Contribute to the efficiency of financial and operational workflows. Prepare and review month-end and year-end financial reports. Attend to BIR submissions at the Pasig office when necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain strong working relationships. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent. 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in ERP systems and online banking processes. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Must be willing to report onsite to the Makati office four (4) days a week.
