As the Retail Training Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and delivery of training programs to elevate frontline excellence and drive commercial performance across retail stores. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure beauty advisors and retail teams are equipped with the skills, product knowledge, and service mindset needed to deliver exceptional brand experiences.

Job Description

  • Assist in the execution and delivery of retail training programs (classroom, digital, and on-the-floor coaching) aligned with brand standards and business objectives.
  • Deliver engaging, interactive product and service training sessions to frontline retail teams, focusing on new launches, hero products, customer experience, and selling techniques.
  • Coach and support store teams on the ground to drive service excellence, elevate customer experience, and improve sales productivity.
  • Gather feedback and insights from the field to identify training gaps, prioritize learning needs, and co-develop tailored learning plans.
  • Facilitate onboarding programs for new beauty advisors to ensure consistent brand knowledge, service standards, and operational readiness from day one.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through field visits, KPIs, assessments, and feedback loops. Provide reports and insights to the Training Manager for continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with Retail Operations, HR, Marketing, and Education teams to ensure alignment on training initiatives and brand storytelling at the point of sale.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of experience in retail training, learning & development, or beauty retail operations.
  • Passion for beauty, skincare, and empowering others through learning.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with retail sales and customer service environments.
  • Self-starter with excellent organization and project management skills.
  • Flexible to travel regionally for training rollouts and in-store coaching.
