• This is a multi-functional role dealing with diverse engineering needs to design solutions, and to deploy them worldwide. This role requires daily interaction with T&M Group (NI) customers, T&M Group (NI) Alliance Partners, T&M Group (NI) sales, and T&M Group (NI) Engineering Teams.
• Collaborate with a wide variety of T&M Group (NI) staff and Alliance partners in semiconductor test engineering, test program structure, hardware design, and fixture design in support of customer solutions.
• Generate requirements documents and finalize statements of work; define and implement project plans, manage milestones, and conduct reviews to ensure requirements are met and deployments are ready.
• Hardware tasks responsibilities include designing and validating analog and digital circuits, signal interconnects, and data communication protocols based on Device Under Test requirements.
• Participate in creating integrated T&M Group (NI) modular hardware into turnkey test systems based on test requirements.
• Evaluate integrated hardware for system reliability, testing accuracy, and total system cost of test.
• RF-related knowledge and experience is a plus.
• Willing to travel domestically and abroad in support of opportunities and projects (approximately 30%).
• Resolve system issues at customer sites to meet stability and reliability expectations; work with customers and contract manufacturers to improve tester performance.
• React to urgent system issues at customer sites during projects; provide guidance and support for system operation at customer sites.

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or higher.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a System Design, Application Engineering, Technical Field Sales, or Test Engineering Design role.
• Experience in RFIC or mixed-signal IC testing and validation; RF FEM, On-Wafer test, IPD, ADC/DAC, LED, MEMS sensors, PMIC, etc.
• Software and system development experience, including test case development; proficiency in Text-Based Programming (C++, VB, Java, etc.).
• Experience with test platform software (SmarTest, IG-XL, etc) and major semiconductor ATE platforms (V93000, Ultra, J750, Pax, etc).
• Experience with common test engineering instruments (SMU, VSA, VSG, VST, VNA, Power Meter, etc.).
• Understanding of measurement error sources, instrumentation selection, hardware-software integration, electrical grounding and shielding concepts; familiarity with schematic capture tools and PCB design; ability in statistical data analysis (Cp, Cpk, GR&R).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a group development environment, diagnose technical issues, take initiative, work independently, and drive tasks to completion; strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
• Semiconductor experience with ATE, handlers, probers, on-wafer testing, digital testing, fabrication, etc.; strong written and verbal English communication; solid electrical engineering foundations.

• Experience with T&M Group (NI) PXI platform or LabVIEW/TestStand (a plus).
• Experience publishing technical papers or presenting at semiconductor journals or conferences (a plus).
