Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met. Manage and lead a team of production workers, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support. Monitor production schedules to ensure that orders are completed on time, adjusting processes as necessary to meet deadlines. Ensure the proper operation of machinery and equipment, conducting regular checks to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs. Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections. Ensure the quality of the corrugated boxes produced meets customer specifications and company quality standards. Prepare and maintain accurate production records, reports, and logs (e.g., production rates, waste, downtime). Identify and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations. Train and develop production staff, ensuring proper skill levels, safety awareness, and adherence to company policies. Manage inventory of raw materials and work with the procurement team to ensure adequate supply levels. Requirements: Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in corrugated box manufacturing or similar industries. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production techniques. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify production inefficiencies and implement improvements. Solid understanding of quality control principles and the ability to maintain high product standards. Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office tools. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and environmental standards. A degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
