Front End Software Engineer (AEM) page is loaded Front End Software Engineer (AEM) Location: Makati City | Type: Full-time | Posted on: yesterday | Application deadline: December 31, 2025 (More than 30 days remaining) Job requisition ID: JR The Opportunity The Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) developer will be responsible for developing and supporting websites for Manulife Asia using the Adobe platform. Responsibilities include site structure, custom components, workflows, object model designs (Java APIs), and unit testing. Position Responsibilities: Application Development and Production Support Develop, implement, and configure web content management solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Assist in gathering and analyzing user requirements and provide consultation on estimates. Resolve user-identified functional and technical issues related to AEM. Maintain development standards, ensure compliance, document tasks, troubleshoot errors. Contribute to user research and testing, apply change management principles, ensure SLA compliance, and support business goals. Stay updated on programming developments and adapt solutions accordingly. Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to foster an innovative culture, ensure compliance with ADM practices, and promote reuse of digital solutions using Agile, DevOps, and automation practices. People Development/Leadership Work with teams across Asia to build an innovative culture, participate in training, and mentor new members. Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in HTML5, CSS3, LESS, SASS, Handlebars. Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, frameworks like JQuery, Angular. Solid experience with AEM building blocks: Sightly/HTL, XML, components, templates, dialogs, widgets, policies. Knowledge of Java/J2EE, JSP, Spring, Sling, JMS, JUnit, MVC, Eclipse, Maven, OSGi. Experience developing templates and custom components on AEM (preferably v6). Experience customizing workflows and integrating with enterprise systems. Experience with AEM content packages. Preferred Qualifications: Adobe Cloud services (Analytics, Target, Campaigns, Forms). Dispatcher configuration, UNIX/SSH, Adobe Cloud Manager. AEM versions 6.4 and 6.5.
